EVI, member of the French Footwear Federation

A Commitment Since Our Beginnings

Since its creation, EVI has been a member of the Fédération Française de la Chaussure, an institution founded in 1929 that embodies both the heritage and modernity of this sector.

As the Federation recalls on its official website: “Since January 2016, French shoe manufacturing has been recognized as a craft, under the definition: the designer-manufacturer of shoes produces footwear thanks to a technical heritage that includes know-how, craftsmanship, and knowledge of leather. This manufacturing, which requires more than 150 operations, is characterized by the creation of a three-dimensional object from flat pieces.”

Today, the Federation brings together nearly 170 French brands: historic houses, major luxury Maisons, but also young brands offering a fresh perspective on the industry. It supports its members in their marketing, international, social, and regulatory development. It promotes creativity and innovation, defends national manufacturing, ensures compliance with quality standards, safeguards the transmission of know-how, and encourages responsible growth.

Being part of this Federation strengthens our approach: to create in France, with rigor and authenticity.
